It is with great joy that I am pleased to announce that at yesterday’s special meeting, the congregation voted to extend a letter of call to the Reverend Elizabeth (Betsy) Hoium to serve as our Associate Pastor for Faith Formation. Pastor Betsy has agreed to accept the call. She will begin her ministry with Prince of Peace on October 1, 2018.
A service of installation is scheduled for Sunday, October 28 with a time of fellowship to follow. Then this fall look for a number of chances to gather in small groups with all of our pastors to build and deepen our relationships in community together. Together, let us give thanks to God for bringing Pastor Betsy to us and let us pray that the Spirit continues to guide our way, ever forward.
