Prince of Peace will be traveling to visit our brothers and sisters in Bomalang’ombe, Tanzania, June 11 through June 28.  This year’s travelers include Jim and Caryn Josephson, Pastor Betsy Hoium, and Lea Thornton.

We will have a chance to stay in Bomalang’ombe, to worship with them, build relationships, and to see the good work that God is doing through our partnership. We will also have the chance to visit the Huruma Center orphanage, the offices of Iringa Hope and other Iringa Diocese offices. We will finish our trip by visiting Ruaha National Park and the coastal town of Bagamoyo.

Watch the bulletin and weekly newsletter for more information about upcoming events and requests for our trip. We will again be collecting bookmarks to bring as gifts and will be having a fundraiser to purchase gifts in Iringa and to use for projects in the village. Some key dates include:

Saturday May 4th – Craft Day

Friday June 7th – Ice Cream Social and fundraiser

Sunday June 9th – “Sending” service

Please keep the travelers and our brothers and sisters in Tanzania in your prayers as we mutually prepare for our visit.
