So many highlights of the day! We loaded up the vehicle and drove to Bomalang’ombe. I think we made it there in record time! We were met part way by a motorcycle parade which escorted us to the church and congregation members singing and dancing.

We learned that we were to have the honor of being the first people to stay in the new Pastor’s house. It is absolutely beautiful!

After tea we went up to the church for a welcoming ceremony. Several choirs sang and danced, we met all the congregation leaders, and heard a report of the partnership.

We then had a delicious lunch and time to rest before visiting a few of the widows who are raising goats. The goats look healthy and well fed!

The sunset was beautiful and then we had another delicious dinner meal. We will get rested up for tomorrow’s church service!
