Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Roseville, invited any member of the congregation to submit a proposal for a grant that will be used out in the world to do God’s work as shown in PoP’s mission: “We are claimed, gathered, and sent to build the Church and love the World.”
The proposals were due by May 22, 2020. Applicants gave a three minute talk describing their proposal on May 31. This was done via video teleconference. A recording is available here.
The Generosity Committee and the Church Council will consider the proposals, ask for more information and clarification if needed and present the package of proposals to the congregation for approval–probably in late summer or early fall 2020.
Proposals will be evaluated on their contribution to PoP’s mission, the probability of success and the soundness of the fiscal management.
