Kathryn Ostlie, Interim Office Manager

Since she first joined our team at the end of September, we have been blessed to have Kathryn Ostlie serve as our Interim Office Manager. It is certainly bittersweet that we announce Kathryn has accepted a position to serve as a Chaplain in the Spiritual Care Department of Fairview Southdale Hospital. In light the amplified needs for quality spiritual care in the midst of this continuing pandemic, Kathryn’s last day with Prince of Peace will be Friday, May 8.

All interim positions are temporary in their nature.  Though we are grieved to lose Kathryn so quickly from our midst, as a church we’re glad we can support her new ministry in this way. It is abundantly clear to us all how well suited Kathryn will be for her new role and that God will be able to accomplish great things in and through her on behalf of the whole church.

Please join us in thanking Kathryn for the countless contributions she has made to our ministry at Prince of Peace. Her steady, calming presence was exactly what we needed at just the right time. While we knew this day would come eventually, we will miss her. In our prayers, we will give thanks to God, asking for strength, wisdom and courage for Kathryn as she cares for the patients and their families at Southdale Hospital.

Cards of thanksgiving may be sent to the church and they will be forwarded to Kathryn.

The Personnel Committee has developed a transition plan for the Office Manager position and expects the search for a permanent replacement to begin soon.  Office functions continue to be conducted remotely and will be carried out by a variety of other staff members.  Any questions or concerns should be directed to Pastor Peter

Watch the staff offer a special farewell for Kathryn.
