Kristin Bloxham brings with her a deep and varied history in professional ministry.

Kristin Bloxham

Following a lengthy and thorough selection process, the Personnel Committee and Congregation Council are pleased to announce the hiring of Kristin Bloxham and her acceptance to serve as our new Office Administrator. Kristin will begin her ministry with us on Monday, August 17. She proved herself to be the clear choice from among the 250+ applicants, including 18 invited candidates, and of the six gifted ministry professionals interviewed for this position. Kristin comes highly recommended by ministry colleagues and we are confident that her abilities will quickly enhance the work that God is accomplishing in and through Prince of Peace.

Here is a brief biography in Kristin’s own words:

Before coming to Prince of Peace, I served as a director of high school and young adult ministry for 12 years. I studied social work at Concordia College and obtained my MA in Children, Youth and Family Ministry from Luther Seminary. I also have the privilege of serving on the Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp board of directors and have a passion for outdoor ministry.  My husband Brice and I met while serving as camp counselors at Camp Wapo. We have two busy boys, Simon (7) and Silas (4). Brice is a pastor at Shepherd of the Hills in Shoreview. I enjoy playing outside with my boys, baking, cooking, watching reality TV, traveling to the family cabin near Hayward, WI, and spending time with my girlfriends.

Join us in welcoming Kristin to the team and celebrating the start of her tenure among us.  While we look forward to opportunities in the future where Kristin will be able to meet with members of our community of faith, these interactions will likely need to remain virtual as our ministry continues to feature remote operations and social distancing.

When you have the opportunity, please thank the members of the Personnel and Selection Committees* who dedicated so much time, energy and wisdom into this search.  We are particularly grateful for Deb Cordes who gave this effort her typically thorough and thoughtful leadership.  In all of their efforts, they represented the best of what Prince of Peace is up to in God’s world.
