How do you do Confirmation in a pandemic? That has been an ongoing experiment in learning for all of us!
This year 7th and 8th graders are focusing on the overarching biblical story and how God’s story is our story. In the fall the group met outdoors until the weather got too cold. Then we tried Zoom. But returned to outdoor confirmation in February and March.
Students were asked to illustrate the Story of Moses in a Photo Scavenger Hunt.
Chalk art in the parking lot helped us learn about the kings and prophets of the Old Testament.
Each session ends with the questions “What do you think this story says about us? And about you?”
