Moving from Fear to Joy

Our community will gather in person this Christmas Eve to hear the wondrous story of God’s light breaking into the world as a baby is born to Mary & Joseph. There will be three worship services featuring holy communion and candlelight; 3pm, 4:30pm 9pm. Each of the services will be similarly styled and patterned. The 3pm service will also be live-streamed and available for viewing online anytime afterwards.

Music

Each of the worship services will feature familiar Christmas hymns, including Silent Night. In addition…

  • The Ericksen Family will lead music and offer an anthem at 3pm.
  • Jenna Sethi & Milt Warkentien will accompany music and Erika Warkentien will offer an anthem at 4:30pm.
  • The Chancel Choir will offer an anthem at 9pm.

Offering

10% of the offerings we receive on Christmas Eve will be shared with our partners at Keystone Community Services to support the “Angel Fund.” These resources are contributed by area faith communities to provide a discretionary funds that Keystone may access to support families in crisis when existing funding may fall short. Often, families need help avoiding late payments for bills or rent to avoid eviction or suspension of critical services and this where the “Angel Fund” can be especially helpful. We’re grateful for your support.

Keeping Our Community Healthy @ Christmastime

In the past, the 4:30pm service has often exceeded our seating capacities. Our current Covid safety protocols will additionally limit our seating capacity in comparison to past practice. Available seating may be more prevalent at 3pm and 9pm. Overflow seating with a live feed of the service will be available in the Reception Room.

Additional safety protocols that will be in place:

  • All attendees will be required to wear a mask.
  • Service length will be approximately 45 minutes.
  • No food or beverage hospitality provided prior to or following these services.

We encourage you to read this letter from our Pastors for more information on our response to Covid.
