Today woke up at 6;30, and got coffee (again). After an hour of commuting, we made it to the Bridge center, where we were introduced to the work we would be doing. We sorted through over 100 bags of donated clothes for the thrift store ran by the Bridge center. These 100 bags of clothes would allow 5 teens to use the Bridge center’s programs and resources for a full year. The Bridge center provides teenagers with new opportunities, such as culinary classes, welding, art, as well as hosting fun inclusive events for teens. After ending our time at the center with a little shopping in their thrift store, we came back to the hostel and left shortly after to go exploring and shopping downtown for the evening. We concluded the night with devotions, we addressed our individual questions about theology and ended with a thoughtful communion. We are excited to reflect on our trip tomorrow overall we are very appreciative of the opportunity we have been given by everyone who has supported our trip.
