Today is Labor Day, which marks the end of summer and the beginning of fall; the start of a new school year and fall activities; a time of endings and beginnings.
For me, it is the time to say good-bye to all of you at Prince of Peace and for you a time of new beginnings. We have experienced so much together in the last four years – births, deaths, camp, trips, Confirmation, worship, going online because of a global pandemic, using our creativity to make it up as we go, and much gathering out of doors. Through all of it, God was in our midst. Even when plans didn’t go as we had planned, God was and is and will always be with us.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for the well wishes and the relationships we have together. As Prince of Peace begins a new chapter, I pray that all goes well. You continue to be in my heart and my prayers!
