September 18th 10:00am in the Reception Room
Melanie Hill is joining our staff in an interim capacity in the Children, Youth, and Family area of ministry. She is excited to get to know us and has a game (with flying Hershey’s Kisses!) to help us get acquainted. The game begins at 10:00 on September 18th. Please come–it’ll be fun! You’ll learn what sorts of plans are being made for the year and where you and yours can plug in at church.
A little about Melanie…
Pastor Melanie has served both urban and suburban congregations in the Twin Cities for 25 years. She delights in working with families and kids. Melanie is an associate at Interserve, an organization specializing in interim ministry, often in the CYF area. During her time at Prince of Peace, she will provide some programming and education as well as working with leadership to see what might be next for Prince of Peace’s ministry with families.
Melanie lives in St. Louis Park with her husband, Burke. They have two (mostly) grown children and are recent empty nesters. Melanie is also a children’s author and you can visit her website at MelanieHeuiserHill.com.
