The desire to stay home as long as possible is always the goal, but what if it’s time to move to assisted living? Memory Care? Where can I find social service assistance? The mechanisms that are these systems are huge and intimidating. Knowing where to start is the first step but what is it?

Legal Matters Facing Seniors – Monday, October 24, at 10:00 – Attorney Melissa Bayne with the Larking Hoffman Offices will spend the morning discussing legal options for safeguarding assets, long term care planning, powers of attorney, and other legal matters facing the aging population.
Annual Medicare Update – Thursday, November 17 at 10:00 – Learn about the recent changes in Medicare benefits and coverage, and how these changes affect you. We will cover the importance of reviewing Medicare Part D coverage during the annual Open Enrollment Period (October 15- December 7), how to use Medicare.gov to make health insurance comparisons, and how Part D works. We will also explain the Low Income Subsidy, a Federal program for people with lower incomes that may reduce prescription drug costs.
