On Ash Wednesday, February 22, we begin our forty-day journey toward Easter. Marking our foreheads with dust, we acknowledge that we die and return to the earth. At the same time, the dust traces the life-giving cross indelibly marked on our foreheads at baptism and shapes our identity through life, into death, and for the life to come.

Come to Prince of Peace to be marked with the cross on Ash Wednesday. Drive by the church from 12-1pm or 4:30-5:30pm and we’ll mark you in person, sharing a prayer and blessing.  And there will be a moment during our 6:30pm worship in the sanctuary (also available on live-stream) where you will be invited to be marked.
