We at Prince of Peace are making a concerted effort to open our doors to the greater community and this has made for some “behind-the-scene” changes! You may notice the black choir chairs in the sanctuary choir loft are no longer in the choir room. That is because our choir room now contains bell tables and handbells and has become the bell choir room! The “old” bell choir room is now used for the instruments of the Home School Band, and this all moves Chancel Choir into the sanctuary for Wednesday rehearsals. These changes have allowed us to welcome a group of home-schooled children in need of a space for a communal musical experience-and we support that! My thanks to the members of Chancel Choir and Bells of Peace for their generosity of spirit in making room for the young musicians of the Home School Band.
