Befrienders delivered twenty-one large Advent Greeting Cards which were signed by members of the congregation. Homebound recipients are reluctant to take the old 2021 greeting card off their wall and often insist on just adding the new greeting. They hunt for names they recognize and ask about new names, especially the children’s names. They show much appreciation for remembering them at Christmastime.
Maria Larson has been busy sending out cards as part of the Befriender Greeting Card Ministry. She has sent out 75 birthday cards to members over 80, thirteen get-well cards, and two sympathy cards. Most interesting is that Prince of Peace has twenty-four members 90 years and older.
