Prince of Peace’s High School Youth Group wants to send a sincere thank you to the whole congregation for the ongoing support of our fundraising efforts for our upcoming trip to Denver this July.
With your support we have raised $13,220.35 of our $18,500 goal! We have our final fundraiser, the Church-wide Rummage Sale, coming up the first weekend of June.
A sign-up sheet has been added to the sign-up table outside the sanctuary with the following volunteer shifts:
Tuesday, May 30th – Donation Drop Off/Set-up – 4-8 pm
Wednesday, May 31st – Donation Drop Off/Set-up – 4-8 pm
Thursday, June 1st – Donation Drop Off/Set-up – 4-8 pm
Friday, June 2nd – Sale/Concessions – 7-11 am, 11 am-3 pm, 3-7 pm
Saturday, June 3rd – Sale/Concessions – 7-11 am, 11 am- 3 pm, 3-7 pm
Sunday, June 4th – Clean-up/item consolidation – 12-2pm
We also need drivers to drop off donations at various donation places after the sale too!
If you have belongings that no longer spark joy, please consider donating your clean, gently used, resalable items. We cannot take computers, TVs, car seats, pianos, mattresses, large appliances, printers, tech related, e-waste, drapes, carpet, or chemicals.
We will start collecting donations on Sunday, May 28th and can take items through Thursday, June 1st at 6pm. Items can be dropped off during building hours or at the specified drop off times listed above.
We hope you join us during the sale on Friday, June 2nd and Saturday, June 3rd from 8am-6pm and find some new treasures to take home!
