Thank you to all who participated in the Adult Forum on Sunday, May 14. There seemed to be a lively discussion among participants about the possibilities we have for meaningful ministry and faithful use of the wonderful resource of our current facilities and the entirety of our property. The index cards that were submitted brought many thoughts that will be considered by the Task Force.
Please note the next big events that are upon us: the PoP Carnival is scheduled for 5-7 pm on Sunday, May 21. There will be food; games; and activities. A demonstration Tiny Home is parked in the parking lot and will be open for people to see. The Pop Carnival is planned by a group who are utilizing “investing for good” funds and seeking to raise funds that will by used for our interim Tiny Home settlement and Settled. Dovetailing with the Carnival will be a community Open House. This is necessary as part of the interim use permit application process with the City of Roseville. The Open House will be 6-8 pm. The next Task Force meeting will be Monday, May 22 at 6:30 pm. Again, visitors are welcome. The Task Force will be doing follow-up to the Open House and addressing the Interim Use Permit materials to submit to the City. In addition, the expanded project list will be looked at, decision factors prioritized and a plan and tentative schedule for reviewing and analyzing projects will be discussed.
