Congregational Council Updates

A brief look at issues discussed and actions taken by the Congregation Council at their monthly meetings.

Semi-Annual Meeting

Semi-Annual Meeting

Sunday, January 28; 12:00pm

Dear congregation,

On January 28, 2024 you will be asked to vote on amendments to the constitution and bylaws.

The attached documents detail these changes. You previously voted to adopt these constitutional amendments. The only changes are minor corrections required by our Synod. This will be a second and final required vote.

The changes in the bylaws are new.  The most important of these is to replace the six congregregational life areas we previously named with three spheres of focus: building the church (internal engagement); loving the world (external engagement) and ministry support.

On Sunday, January 21  our Sunday Forum will be  an informational meeting to discuss these amendments.

In the mean time, I wish you a blessed and joyful Christmas season.

In hope for the new year,

Michael Stetzler
