A focus on building relationships with each other and adults at Prince of Peace while also learning about the Bible, faith, and what it means for young people’s lives today.
Middle School Ministry & Confirmation
God Rocks – Middle School Youth Group (for 5-8 graders)
Twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday, 5th-8th graders can join Julene at PoP for dinner, fellowship, and more from 6:00 – 7:30pm. Parents can join Pastor Peter at High Pines/Tipsy Steer for Adult Youth Group after dropping off their children at Prince of Peace.
Confirmation for 7th & 8th Graders (and interested 6th graders)
Confirmation will be rooted this year around the stories told in scripture of God and God’s love for creation. The goal is to have your students discover how the Bible can be a resource for them as they continue to grow and learn in their lives of faith. We will meet 1 or 2 times each month for 2 hours on Sunday afternoons (the schedule is below). Julene Hannesh and Pastor Peter, will teach most of the sessions. Students will also be keeping a journal, adding and capturing a variety of content throughout the year.
