Big Dreams, Bigger Worries

Even when things are going right, the unexpected can still change your course. One steadfast hero’s story shows that hope can still be found.

Scripture References: Genesis 39:1-23

From Series: "Embraced by Hope"

Without a doubt, it has been a rough couple of years. There isn’t an aspect of life that hasn’t had to be re-imagined. This is also true for the life of faith, especially one that’s best lived in community. But God never stopped working in and through each of us to deliver on the promises God has made. At the start of this new school year and as we transition from the slower days of summer into the increasing busyness of fall, let’s take some time to remember what God has been up to all along. In our worship, we’ll return to the story that has been recorded, told, and retold for generations. In our life together, we’ll be reminded that God continues to come to us, reforming and renewing the world so that we might better experience the gift of love that fuels all that needs to be done. And, quite simply, because we’re a better church when we are together, come and feel the embrace of hope that we have been missing for far too long.
