Making Room for Love in our Differences

On this 4th Sunday in Advent we hear the songs and stories of the season through our service of Lessons and Carols. We turn to these lessons and carols to guide us in hope, peace, joy, and love all the way to the birth of Christ Child. May this week's worship continue to open us up to make room for Christ in our hearts, our minds, and our lives.

Scripture References: Luke 1:57-80

From Series: "Making Room "

There is little doubt that the lives we lead are full, but are they filled with the right things? Lately, life might seem to be filled more with doubts, challenges, frustrations, and division. This Advent, why not take a breath, slow down for a moment and make some room for the good that is breaking into the world? The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And now, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his ancestor David. He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.” Luke 1:30-33
