David & Goliath

There are giant problems all around and we might feel small in comparison. This is especially true when we consider the great injustices of today from racial and economic disparities to political polarization and climate change. How might we summon the courage of a shepherd boy, willing to trust God even when we feel outmatched, to not only stand our ground but to step forward and risk it all?

Scripture References: 1 Samuel 17:1-50

From Series: "I Love to Tell the Story"

Faith is learned through stories. Even before they were written down, Bible stories were told orally. Immersing ourselves in favorite Bible stories is something we do as children. But these stories aren’t just for kids; they’re for people of all ages. Each time we hear a story or read a passage, we may hear something new and realize how this story speaks to us in this time and this place.
